Cycle of conferences to open the mind

« Transitions », c’était un cycle de conférences destinées aux architectes et ingénieur.es désireux et désireuses de s’ouvrir l’esprit en vue des transitions en cours et à venir, dans le contexte actuel d’urgence écologique et climatique. Les conférences s’articulaient autour de ces quatre thèmes : Comprendre, Changer, Rêver, Agir. L’Atelier Valenthier a été mandaté pour en concevoir les quatre visuels clés, à destination d’une campagne d’affichage et sur les médias sociaux. Ces images ont été inspirées du « Manuel de Transition » de Rob Hopkins, duquel est issue l’idée d’un atelier où les participants se visualisent en tant que super-héros de la transition écologique, symbolisés par… des personnages faits de cure-dents et de pommes de terre.

“Transitions” was a series of conferences for architects and engineers who wanted to open their minds to the current and future transitions in the current context of ecological and climatic emergency. The conferences were structured around these four themes: Understanding, Changing, Dreaming, Acting. Atelier Valenthier was commissioned to design the four key visuals for a poster campaign and social media. These images were inspired by Rob Hopkins’ “Transition Manual”, from which the idea of a workshop where participants visualise themselves as superheroes of the ecological transition, symbolised by… characters made of toothpicks and potatoes, was born.
