Mouvements

Who ? What ? Where ? Why ?

Because movement is at the heart of life, drawing journeys of individuals, objects and ideas

“Due to its geographical position and its history, Neuchâtel has naturally developed strong relationships with foreign countries. Migratory movements and the circulation of goods and techniques have been driving forces in its development. On the occasion of its new permanent exhibition, the Musée d’art et d’histoire de Neuchâtel is questioning its collections of visual arts, history, applied arts and numismatics and is bringing them into dialogue through the prism of movement”. Atelier Valenthier built the complete graphic identity and its many variations using moving and floating letters. The scenographer having designed furniture inspired by shipping crates, it is on the model of their labelling system that Valenthier imagined the signage throughout the space.
