From the MD to the PHD

Sous le regard du chirurgien du siècle passé César Roux, dans l’auditoire du même nom, se tenait en 2011 la première édition du M-Day. Une journée conçue dans le but de valoriser les travaux de master en médecine et de susciter des vocations chez les médecins de demain en présentant, sous forme de posters, les travaux de recherche des étudiants sortants. C’est la lettre « M » qui a servi d’architecture à la mise en page du flyer-programme, avec la volonté de marier forme et fonction: déclinés en 3 versions, offrant chacune un index de recherche différent pour les travaux de master (par étudiant.e, par mentor ou par thématique), les flyers pouvaient ainsi être imbriqués l’un dans l’autre pour rappeler l’identité visuelle.

In 2011, the first M-Day was held in the auditorium of the same name, under the gaze of the surgeon of the last century, César Roux. The aim of this day was to promote the work of masters in medicine and to encourage future doctors by presenting the research work of graduating students in the form of posters. The letter “M” served as the architecture for the layout of the programme flyer, with the intention of combining form and function: available in 3 versions, each offering a different search index for the master’s work (by student, by mentor or by theme), the flyers could thus be nested within each other to recall the visual identity.
